Itinerary
Day 1
Marrakesh, Morocco
Upon your arrival in Marrakech, you will be greeted by your driver guide who will take you to your charming riad. After settling in, you will have some free time to explore the city on your own, taking in the sights and sounds of Marrakech at your own pace. Whether you choose to wander the colorful souks, sip mint tea in a traditional café, or admire the stunning architecture of the Bahia Palace, you'll quickly fall in love with this vibrant and enchanting city. Your driver guide will be on hand to provide recommendations and insider tips to help you make the most of your time in Marrakech. Finish your trip with a blissful visit to an authentic Moroccan hammam. Learn about the
traditions and history of the hammam and unwind with one of Marrakesh's most sought-after spa experiences
Day 2
Marrakesh, Morocco
You will be guided to the Koutoubia Mosque and Gardens, the city's largest mosque. You will pass through one of the Medina's (old-town) markets, street food, and performers. In the evening you will take a food tour, watching locals prepare authentic delicacies and taste the flavors of Marrakech as the sun goes down and the street performers come out to entertain.
Day 3
Marrakesh, Morocco
Learn to cook traditional Moroccan dishes at this cooking school in Marrakech. The legendary restaurant at La Maison Arabe today offers cooking workshops designed for the amateur and professional alike.
You will be greeted and given an overview of Moroccan cuisine and spices by a French or English interpreter. During this time you will: Learn how Moroccan bread is made, visit a
communal bread oven and hotel spice shop, prepare a delicious Moroccan meal including salad, main course, and dessert, participate in a Moroccan tea ceremony, dine on the lunch you’ve prepared.
Day 4
Marrakesh, Morocco
This afternoon, enjoy a respite from the Moroccan heat with a tour of Majorelle Botanical Gardens and Yves Saint Laurent. The brightly colored buildings are beautiful to look at, and the gardens are
breathtaking. The garden is not the main attraction, but rather the bright blue and yellow house which is a museum. The museum was once the home of the landscape artist, Jacques Marojelle, in the 1920s!

If you want to avoid the crowds, then make sure you tick this Marrakesh attraction off earlier in the day. The gates open from 8 am (Monday to Sunday) and stay open until 6 pm. Tickets cost USD $7 and are worth every cent! There’s also a quaint little coffee shop to enjoy a refreshment underneath the trees.
Day 5
Travel Day to Agafay, Morocco
Today is about total relaxation. Start the day with a private yoga session at sunrise, led by a local yogi. Then, retire to your hotel for breakfast and spend the rest of the day however you please. At the end of the day, finish with a blissful visit to an authentic Moroccan hammam. Learn about the traditions and history of the hammam and unwind with one of Marrakesh's most sought-after spa experiences.

The evening will transition into the tranquility of the desert landscapes as you travel into the dunes of Agafay for an Overnight Desert Camp. Your drive takes you by Takerkoust Lake and through lush vegetation, olive and orange orchards, and to the village of Ait Imour. From here, the route takes you off-road, through stone desert, a Bedouin village, and an oasis, then to the panoramic views of the High Atlas. Upon arrival, welcome tea and a camel ride through arid plateaus and oases to enjoy complete serenity and a beautiful sunset far away from the hustle and bustle of
Marrakesh.

Day 6
Agafay, Morocco
The day starts with a yoga flow that will prepare you for an immersive journey into the Agafay Desert . After being picked up from your hotel or riad, travel only 40 kilometers to the unspoiled Agafay Desert to explore the endless fields of sand and admire the Atlas Mountains.

For lunch, you'll enjoy a traditional Berber meal with a local family. Before you eat, learn how they bake their delicious bread in tiny,
unconventional stone ovens. Join your hosts for Lunch and a fun afternoon of community, mint tea, and conversation. After
lunch, immerse yourself in the intricate art of mosaic zellige in this hands-on workshop. Learn the techniques for cutting and finishing small tile pieces, and witness the creation of stunning zellige plates. Enjoy a tea break with a local craftsman and put your newfound skills to the test during an hour of practice!
Day 7
Travel Day to Imlil, Morocco
This morning you'll swap the Desert for the mountains when you take a comfortable private transfer to Imlil, a 90-minute drive away in the High Atlas mountains. Journey through a picturesque valley known for its lush meadows and green gardens, stopping at the small city of Asni. Continue between the hills of the Atlas mountains and the Moulay Brahim Gorge. Finally, you'll reach Imlil in the heart of Toubkal National Park. Many people use this small Berber village as a base for climbing Mount Toubkal, Morocco's highest peak at 13,671 feet (4,167 m).
This afternoon you could arrange a half-day hike between villages and mountain valleys. The local Berber people are always eager to share their culture, so you could learn to cook traditional dishes or share mint tea with a local family.
Day 8
Travel Day
Check out of the hotel after a final breakfast and journey back to Marrakech Airport via private transportation. Take in the unparalleled beauty of Morocco's vibrant landscape of sand, valleys and mountains.
Please note that this is a general outline for the retreat's activities, and the itinerary is subject to change.
